As a youngster making his name in the league, it is not often you can say that you play with one a GOAT such as Tom Brady himself. The former New England Patriots star switched base to Florida earlier this year in a blockbuster move. He said goodbye to father-like figure Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft.
He signed a two-year deal with Tampa Bay Buccaneers which is worth around $60 million. The Florida-based franchise boasts a team full of young offensive talents. They were in dire need of a senior central figure who can lead them to the playoffs. In Tom Brady, they have found exactly what they were looking for.
Here is what young running back, Ronald Jones II, had to say about his new superstar teammate.

Brady has turned Tampa Bay into potential play-off contenders heading into the 2020 season. Without a doubt, TB12 serves as a massive upgrade from former Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston who is now in New Orleans. The iconic quarterback has now thrown for more than 4,000+ yards for three seasons running. Yes, his pass completion rate is on the decline. However, the attacking prowess that the Bucs posses in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, OJ Howard, and Ronald Jones could work in Brady’s favor this year.
Meanwhile, Chris Godwin tipped for top season by Buccaneers teammate
‘‘Chris is really shifty. A lot of people probably don’t think so because he’s so big (6-1, 209 pounds). … He uses his speed very wisely, because he can beat you over the top. But he’s a very precise route runner with a wide catch radius. You can think you have him covered for 10 yards, and he gets open and makes the catch,” Murphy-Bunting told Tampa Bay Times.
Godwin was terrific for Tampa Bay over the course of the 2019 season. He will benefit from the arrival of Tom Brady. His partnership with fellow wideout Mike Evans makes the Bucs playoff contenders for sure. Bruce Arians’ side start their 2020 campaign with a game against New Orleans Saints on September 14, 2020.
