Call Of Duty Mobile: Fan Favorite Map From MW2 Confirmed

Call Of Duty Mobile Season 9 update changed the game completely. It has been just 15 days since that massive update and people are already looking forward to Season 10. Season 9 update introduced the gunsmith in mobile gaming. It changed the way weapon mechanics is handled in the game. In fact, some of the weapons which were previously not the preferred choice are now completely broken. For example, the Type 25 AR, which was nerfed back in Season 3. Also, the HG40 SMG. People disliked the gun so much, yet it has become so popular since the Season 9 update that now it has a legendary blueprint of its own.

Season 10 of Call Of Duty Mobile is expected to arrive mid -September. Recently Call Of Duty teased the players with a sneak peek of a new map in the next Season.

Yes, it is now confirmed that Terminal is finally coming to COD mobile. If you are unaware, the Call Of Duty Mobile Test server for season 9 already had the map in it. Dataminers and players alike expected to see the map in Season 9. The Season 9 update was delayed and the devs confirmed later that Terminal will not be released in Season 9. Finally the Modern Warfare 2 fan favorite is going to be released on the mobile multiplayer.

Anybody with access to the Beta test server can go ahead and enjoy the map already. Pine was another map waiting to released in the global version. It is a small map for 2v2 Gunfights or the favorite 1v1 mode.

Call Of Duty Mobile Terminal Dynamics

First introduced in Modern Warfare 2, Terminal made a remastered entry in Modern Warfare 3. It is a medium-sized map based on the ‘No Russian’ campaign. The map is based on the inside of an airport. Luggage, counters, and shops are filled inside the map. Security checkpoints and the multiple barricades fill a side of the map giving it a maze-like structure.

Players can take cover indoors to save themselves from snipers on the high power positions. The indoor areas can work as cover from enemy killstreaks as well.

The top of the solitary aircraft is a regularly used power position. It is extremely difficult to access once it has been occupied. But the Molotov is now a lethal so if you are thinking of setting yourself there, consider using a trophy system.

Overall, Terminal is an all weapon ground. It is easy to stack up killstreaks in this map. It is expected it will be a favorite with the mobile crowd as well.

Roblox: Top 5 New Games in 2020

Roblox has been one of the greatest gaming and game development platforms out there for a long time now. The platform features a huge catalog of more than 40 million games currently, most of which are user-generated. This list has got a substantial upgrade recently this year with some new and updated titles. Let us take a look at some of them.

Further reading: Valorant: Sentinels Sweep Envy to Clinch Pop Flash

Top 5 new games on Roblox this year

Call of Robloxia-Roblox at War

Yes, this actually is a derivative of the Call of Duty World at War title. This one is not a new title but an updated classic.  Based on the Second World War, CoR used to be one of the best FPS games on the platform. It eventually lost its popularity due to neglect and lack of updates, as well as the rise of other FPS titles. The new update has brought improved lighting and shaders, and bullet impact effects among other improvements.

Spider

This one brings a new twist to the usual escape room titles like Granny, Piggy, etc. In Spider, you morph into the creature that other players escape from. It is more disturbing to look at than you would think. You turn into a human spider but without the sweetness of Spiderman. The player can climb walls and create webs, in addition to the ability to devour other players alive. Overall, Spider is popular for all the wrong reasons.

Dawn of Aurora

This post-apocalyptic RPG takes you to a world overrun by mutants. Become a part of the town Rust, one of the last standing communities not yet conquered by mutants. Players can choose to play as a law-abiding citizen, a F.E.A.R. soldier, a member of the resistance, a criminal, or a prisoner. Players have to make their living by mining, fighting mutant invaders, and by taking up various tasks. The game has grown to be really popular and has had over 1.5 million visits already.

 MegaMech

This mech RPG does not even look like a Roblox game. Get in a massively multiplayer arena and fight it out with other players and accomplish various tasks and challenges to win upgrades and skins for your mech warrior.

Quarantine Z

This one is for the zombie apocalypse fans out there. Quarantine Z combines survival and action in a solo Walking Dead style. The objective is to survive from zombies and other players as you gather resources and try not to perish. This one might remind players of the Roblox game Apocalypse Rising.

There are a lot more great new titles that Roblox flaunts on its current catalog like Hedgerows 2, Infection, Age of Heroes, and many more, each better than the last. Which one is your favorite?

NASCAR News: Hype Builds for 2020 NASCAR Playoffs at Darlington

With the Coke Zero Sugar 400 finally done and dusted, the NASCAR regular season has officially drawn to a close. Now, the paddock and the 16 drivers in the playoffs will be looking ahead to the coming weekend’s race at Darlington Raceway.

For these 16 drivers, everything is on the line as they duke it out in the next 10 races to crown a champion. The man with the giant target painted on his back is, Kevin Harvick. He took the title in 2014, but has been up and down since then, so this is his big chance to claim the trophy back.

However, Denny Hamlin will be leading the charge to close him down, with 6 wins on the board, and Harvick’s biggest threat. Aside from him, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano and Chase Elliot will be hot on their heels.

Other major contenders are Martin Truex Jr, Ryan Blaney, Alex Bowman, William Byron and Austin Dillon. However, nobody can rule out Cole Custer, Aric Almirola, Clint Bowyer, Matt DiBenedetto and the Busch brothers.

Who will win the NASCAR playoffs?

All of these drivers will be massive threats when the playoffs begin on 6th September. Out of these 16 drivers, 11 of them have wins under their belt, which could give them an advantage. However, the saying goes, ‘never say never’, because there is a possibility of somebody springing a surprise.

Kevin Harvick has been on a roll this season, with 7 wins in the bag, but Denny Hamlin is right on his tail. There is also the subject of the other drivers on the NASCAR grid who have not qualified for the playoffs. This is because, they all have nothing to lose or gain in these next 10 races.

So, there is a distinct possibility of one of the non-playoff drivers trying to ruin the party. One example will be Jimmie Johnson, who will be motivated to win at least one race before he steps away from NASCAR.

Chase Elliott Confident that He can Perform Well in the NASCAR Playoffs

The NASCAR regular season is finally over and the playoffs will soon begin next week. In light of this, Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott spoke to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio about the playoffs. He said, “We obviously wish that we had more wins than the other guys, but I’m confident that we have been on a roll.”

He noted that if the right things happen at the right time, it can really help the team in the long run. This is why he is looking forward to duking it out with the other 15 contenders, and he is confident of the team’s abilities.

Can Chase Elliott reach the final 4?

The driver confessed that he did not think that two wins or a bonus point is enough to stay safe. He believes that stage points will also play a vital role in staying alive in the championship.

According to Chase Elliott, if he grabs a couple of wins, stage wins and bonus points, he has a chance. He also revealed that even though he has five playoff seasons’ worth of experience, he still has a lot to learn.

Elliott is aware that every year offers new challenges, and he is certainly looking forward to it. He currently sits in 5th place, 37 points adrift of Kevin Harvick. However, he has a chance to boost himself up the order if he can outscore everyone.

Chase Elliott is one of 3 Hendrick Motorsport drivers who made it into the playoffs. Sadly, the fourth car of Jimmie Johnson will not be joining them. The NASCAR veteran missed out on the playoffs for the second year in a row. Sadly, this was his last chance to make it.

What makes it even more gutting is that Johnson is walking away from full-time racing at the end of 2020. So, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman will try and gun for the title for him.

Amid Poor Ferrari Form, Sebastian Vettel Breaks His Own F1 Record at the Belgian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel struggled to keep up with the pace in the recently concluded Belgium Grand Prix. However, his 13th place finish handed him a personal record. Continuing his poor form along with Ferrari, Vettel had the slightest idea he broke his personal record. Pulling out a flop race, Vettel marched onto score 7 consecutive races outside the top 5.

His previous streak of 6 races outside the top 5 dates back to 2007. His streak was broken after a 4th position finish in China. However, the new record is something Vettel won’t be proud of.

Sebastian Vettel finished outside of the Top 5 for the 7th straight race for the first time in his 247 race career in the 2020 Belgian Grand Prix; his original longest streak outside the Top 5 was his first 6 Grand Prix, before finishing 4th in China in 2007. from formula1

The last time Vettel finished a race in the top 5 was way back in 2019 in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Vettel never reached the top 5 spots this season. In seven races in 2020, a P6 in Hungary remains his highest-ranked race. His poor form would be a matter of concern for him as he is yet to sign a deal for the upcoming Formula 1 session.

Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari having a tough time in the track

Ferrari had pretty tough luck this weekend. Coming into the race with an issue with the power unit, they were struggling in the practice sessions. Relieving all speculations, Mattia Binotto mentioned the issue was with the tire segments. Ferrari had to settle for two mid-table finishes with Vettel 13th and Charles Leclerc 14th.

Ferrari

Humiliation knew no bound as Alfa Romeo, being Ferrari’s customer for their engines surpassed them with ease. Though Mattia blamed the track for the cause of defeat, it was a mere excuse from the Italian chief.

Up next Formula 1 moves to Italy where teams would be fighting for the Monza Grand Prix. The real test is for Ferrari as they would look forward to putting up a decent performance in their backyard. However, it would be highly dramatic to see arch-rivals Mercedes lifting the Championship Cup right under the nose of the Italian side.

Stan Wawrinka Visits Special Guest in His Home Country

Every tennis fan loves watching Juan Martin del Potro play, but sadly, he hasn’t been able to do so. Last year, at the Queen’s Club Championship, he fractured his knee, and he has been recovering ever since.

To speed up this process, the Argentine visited Bern, Switzerland, and is set to begin rehab there under the supervision of Dr. Roland Beirdert. Obviously, Stan Wawrinka heard about this news and he decided to pay his good friend a visit.

Wawrinka obviously feels sad for Del Potro as he has to recover from an injury once again. The Argentine has already had so many and the worst of the lot came back in 2014 where he suffered a wrist injury.

He had to take 2 whole years off, and many thought he would never come back. However, the warrior that he is, Del Potro proved all of them wrong and will do so yet again.

Stan Wawrinka also looking for a comeback

While Stan has not suffered any injuries of late, he is suffering from the effects of one that he endured back in 2017. Since then, the Swiss tennis star has lost his position at the pinnacle of tennis and he has been trying to get it back ever since.

Now, his best opportunity to do so is almost around the corner.

Stan Wawrinka: ´The Short Pants of the French Open? Never Again´

As all of his fans know, Wawrinka’s favorite surface is clay, and that is why it is great that the clay season is coming. It will start with the Rome Masters after the US Open and it will be followed by the French Open.

The Swiss star obviously has great memories at the Parisian Grand Slam as he won it back in 2015. He brought his best tennis back then and hopefully, he will be able to do the same this year.

Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War Beta Date Reportedly Leaked

The Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War trailer is finally out and it takes us on an action-filled ride back to the 80s. Popular characters from previous BO games make a comeback and it promises to pack a punch. The game is all set to release on November 13th, 2020 and according to a recent leak, we already have the beta release date.

Popular insider Tom Henderson tweeted this earlier.

Given Tom’s track record regarding insider news and updates, this could indeed be credible information. This was also confirmed by popular Cod news channel COD Tracker.

Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War isn’t the first game to release first on PlayStation

Interestingly, this is yet another game that will make its debut first on PS4 before any other platform. The same happened with Marvel’s Avengers and now PlayStation bags COD, too. PC and Xbox fans will have to wait a while longer for the beta drop. It will most likely be available in stages for different platforms and players need to pre-order the game to be eligible to participate in the beta.

This is not the first leak we have come across about the COD 2020 title. The speculation around the title has been present for more than 4 months now. Almost every single detail about the game was leaked before we got to see the teaser or trailer of the game. And the leaks have been absolutely spot on right from predicting the title, to the game’s storyline.

We also recently got more information about the upcoming multiplayer mode in the game, the maps, and the list of potential weapons. It will be officially unveiled to the world on September 9th, 2020. We also have a complete list of Campaign map codenames already leaked and there’s really nothing that we don’t know about the game at this point.

The fan-favorite Zombies Mode also makes a comeback with this year’s title. This was also part of the leaks and there will be more news on the same soon. The Beta drop will probably let the players experience some part of the campaign. Since the multiplayer reveal is scheduled for September, players may also get to experience it in the beta. There is still no official confirmation regarding this but we’ll get one soon enough.

“I Am Not Following”: Stefanos Tsitsipas Denies Involvement in Novak Djokovic’s New Players’ Association

World No. 4 Stefanos Tsitsipas is aiming to win his maiden grand slam at the US Open 2020. Tsitsipas played well in the Western and Southern Open 2020, before losing to Milos Raonic in the semifinal.

During a conference prior to the US Open, Tsitsipas was asked about his thoughts on Novak Djokovic vacating his spot as the head of the ATP players council.

The journalist questioned Tsitsipas about his involvement in the talks of forming a new players’ association.

The Greek shook his head and remarked, “I am not involved at all, like zero. I have nothing to do with this”. Another question followed Tsitsipas’ assertion, asking him about whether he was in favor of what the players’ association was speaking about.

“I don’t even know what they are talking about. I am not following,” replied Tsitsipas, dismissing all doubt about his involvement and interest in the Professional Tennis Players Association.

The players’ association has been founded by World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and Canadian Vasek Pospisil. The objective of the association is to safeguard the players’ interest in the backdrop of ATP’s poor handling during the COVID-19 crisis.

Many top players like Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have opposed the move and emphasized on unity rather than separation. The 3-time Grand Slam Champion, Andy Murray, has also expressed his reservations regarding the formation of a new association.

Stefanos Tsitsipas excited for US Open 2020

This is going to be Tsisitpas’ third appearance at the US Open. The Greek hasn’t gone beyond the second round at Flushing Meadows and has a strong chance to go deep in the absence of top players.

The 2019 Australian open semi-finalist regrets that he won’t be able to play in front of a crowd at the Arthur Ashe stadium.

Tsitsipas seeded No. 4 will be playing his opening round match against Spain’s Albert Ramos. The 22-year-old might face Novak Djokovic in the semifinal if both men find their way to the penultimate stage.

Utah Jazz Vs Denver Nuggets Game 6: Injury Updates and Predictions

What seems more like a Donovan Mitchell vs Jamal Murray contest is up for the sixth game tonight. Denver snatched Utah’s chances of making it to the second-round Playoffs in Game 5. The series is currently standing at 3-2 in favor of Jazz.

The series was at 3-1 after Game 4 when Nuggets force, Jamal Murray knocked 42 points to pave their way to a 117-107 win. They outrightly stopped Jazz from easily making it to the Conference semifinals. Murray was dropping 17-of-26 from the field and 50% from beyond the arc.

In the upcoming match as well, Murray will be key to Nuggets’ future in these Playoffs. Meanwhile, he is averaging 30.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists.

Report: Nuggets, Jamal Murray agree on 5-year, $170M deal | 9news.com

On the other end, Utah’s star Donovan Mitchell has been ruthless this Playoff series with back-to-back 50-point games. He has impressed a large section of viewers with that unstoppable intent. Last game, Mitchell was restricted to 30 points that helped Nuggets take their series forward.

Despite the absence of Bojan Bogdanovic throughout the postseason, Utah has maintained their fight with Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, and others. Two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert adds spice to the Jazz lineup. The rebounds seem to be going that way most of the time.

Nuggets need the spark for Game 6 to even series with Jazz

Another news for Nuggets is the comeback of their guard, Gary Harris. He expected to be present for Game 6 who was out for the entire season restart with a hip strain. Now that Gary will also be on the court, Nuggets will be stronger than the previous match.

It is going to be a fierce contest for both offensive powerhouses as they are breaking records with each match in play. All credit to Nuggets, that the series has elongated to a seven-game contest.

If Utah wants it back, then Mitchell will have to get back his high-scoring games.

The Nuggets require a team contribution that could help Murray’s massive efforts. Certainly, Nikola Jokic who is averaging 26.4 points is another pillar for the team.

If Nuggets do repeat that tremendous effort in Game 6 as well, the series will go even and the seventh game will stand as the decider. Let’s see whether it will be Donovan Mitchell or Jamal Murray this time.

Houston Rockets’ P.J. Tucker and OKC’s Dennis Schroder Face Disciplinary Action For Their Heated Fight in Game 5 of NBA Playoffs

After the Houston Rockets took a 2-0 lead, the outcome of the series looked almost certain. But to everyone’s surprise, Thunder tied the series at two games apiece in the next two games. However, Houston regained momentum in a blow victory in game 5 pushing OKC to the brink of elimination.

Harden was phenomenal as always, but it was P.J. Tucker and Dennis Schroder who stole the highlight from the Beard for all the bad reasons. Tucker and Schroder got into a heated scuffle down the stretch, which led to a double ejection.

After the game, the Rockets urged the NBA to further investigate this matter. This is not the first time the Rockets have been on the receiving end of low blows in this series. In game 3, Chris Paul pulled a similar stunt on Ben McLemore but it went unnoticed by the officials. It raised many questions about whether Chris Paul was being favored as Paul is the president of NBPA (National Basketball Players Association).

But this time around the situation is different, as it turns out both Tucker and Schroder face disciplinary action. Schroder was also involved in a similar incident back in 2013. When he landed a low blow on then Sacramento King’s center Demarcus Cousins.

According to ESPN’s Andrian Wojnarowski, both the players have been fined $25,000 each for the fight.

What’s next for the Houston Rockets?

James Harden

The game 6 of this first-round series is by far the most important game for both the sides. Rockets want to win the series, while OKC wants to push the series to seven games. However, OKC has already proved that they have the confidence to make a comeback in the series.

If the Rockets, below the lead once again, it will be demoralizing for Mike D’Antoni’s side. With Russell Westbrook also back in the starting lineup, the stars are lined perfectly for the Rockets to eliminate OKC.

Harden and Westbrook are capable of destroying any defense in the league. Moreover, in game 5, Luguentz Dert had one of the worst games in playoff history. He was the only one who could somewhat stop Harden. But after his terrible game 5 performance, Billy Donovan might to take other options into consideration.

Will the Rockets close out the series? Or will OKC make it to game 7? We’ll find out in game 6 on Monday.

“Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”: NBA Analyst Blames Luka Doncic For Marcus Morris’ Horrid Foul in Game 6

The Dallas Mavericks and the LA Clippers have locked horns for the game 6 of this tightly fought first-round series. This game is vital for both teams especially for Luka Doncic led Mavericks considering they are 3-2 down.

Luka Doncic and Marcus Morris have already brawled once in the series. Things got heated up again between the two in Game 6. Doncic was driving to the lane and Morris tried to stop the 21-year-old. Instead, he slapped Doncic on the back of his head.

The two players almost got into a brawl but Boban Marjanovic held Doncic to prevent any further action. However, the story was different for Morris. Officials gave him a flagrant 2 foul and the Clippers forward was ejected from the game.

Did Luka Doncic initiate the fight?

At first look, Doncic looks completely innocent in the brawl. However, according to Skip Bayless, it was Doncic who initiated contact with Morris.

“Once again, Doncic starts it by throwing an elbow into Marcus Morris on the drive. Morris retaliates with a flagrant shot to the side of the head – ejected. Doncic started it last game w sucker punch to the back of RJackson’s head. THEN Morris stepped on the shoe of injured foot.” said Bayless about the altercation.

Skip further landed the blame on Luka after tweeting:

“Doncic: Wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

There may be some truth to Skip’s claims as Doncic has looked frustrated this entire series. He has constantly been complaining about the calls made by the referees. Moreover, being down 3-2 without Kristaps Porzingis could also have an impact on Doncic’s recent behavior.

Whatever be the reason, Morris’ actions were not justified by any means. In game 5, Morris could have worsened Doncic’s left ankle injury by stepping on it. And this time, he simply slapped Doncic in the process.

In any case, the Mavericks will need to focus on the task at hand, which is to push the series to game 7. Can Luka Doncic and the Mavericks tie the series? Or will the Clippers take home the W? That remains the question of the hour.

“She’s Proven to Be One of The Greatest Athletes” – John McEnroe Compares Serena Williams to Basketball Legends

Seven-time grand slam champion John McEnroe is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. International Tennis Hall of Famer recently spoke about social equality, regression and talked about his biggest rivals. During a Q&A session with NewYork Post, the columnist Steve Serby asked John McEnroe about what made Serena Williams great.

McEnroe talked about the attributes of great champions and their ability to find the extra gear when they need to. “Forget the fact that she’s got this huge game, and that she instills fear by her power and intimidates people. … The resolve that she has, never giving in.” said McEnroe on what sets Williams apart.

1981 Wimbledon champion McEnroe compared Williams with the most iconic basketball players of all time like Micheal Jordon and Lebron James.

“She’s proven to be one of the greatest athletes, man or woman in the last 100 years, 50 years —she’s up there with the Michael Jordans, in that same stratospheric league … LeBron James … these all-time legends.” added McEnroe.

American McEnroe’s remark is contrary to the statement he made back in 2017. McEnroe had compared Williams to male tennis players and said that Serena would have been ranked No.700 if she had played in the men’s circuit.

Serena Williams has had a huge impact on tennis, says John McEnroe

Four-time US Open winner McEnroe believes that Williams’ longevity has been immensely impactful. Serena became a professional tennis player at age 14 and won his first grand slam at 1999 US Open. Over the course of 20 years, Williams has won 73 WTA titles and held the No.1 ranking for 319 weeks in total.

McEnroe thinks that people have started looking at Williams differently since she became a mother and applauded her on a stellar career.

Serena Williams

“I think that over the course of the last few years, especially since she became a mom, people look at her in a different way and realize when they look back in 20 years what type of impact she was able [to make] … especially coming in a sport as I said earlier that’s 99 percent, 95 percent white,” said Mcenore during the Q&A session.

Williams seeded No.3 at this year’s US Open, she will face fellow countrywoman Kristie Ahn in the opening round. Serena has lost in her last four grand slam final appearances and will be looking to cross the line. The American has a tough route to the final and is eyeing a record 7th US Open title.

Novak Djokovic Aims To Break The Record For Most Number Of Grand Slams

Tennis resumed after a prolonged break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the US Open 2020 commencing on August 31, tennis returns to its greatest theatre. With Wimbledon being called off and the French Open being scheduled later this year, the US Open would be an interesting watch. World Number one Novak Djokovic would be looking to clinching his 18th Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows.

Leading the race for the most Grand Slams, Roger Federer sits comfortably with 20 Major titles to his name. Out of which Federer holds 8 Wimbledon titles. Spanish sensation Rafael Nadal sits second with 19 titles to his name. he owns staggering tally of 11 French Open crowns, and the King of Clay is eyeing to increase his Slam tally at Roland Garros this year.

Roger Federer

Novak Djokovic slides in third in the list with 17 Grand Slam titles. With the majority of his titles coming from the Australian Open, he is sensational down under. However, he’s just 33 years old. Definitely, he has a well 6-7 years tennis left in him. Federer’s record looks vulnerable as the Swiss maestro is nearing 40 and suffering from frequent injuries. Though Rafa remains a tough competitor, yet Djokovic has the scale towards him. Novak looks forward to breaking the Grand Slam record. Also, he aims to surpass Federer’s record of 310 weeks of Wolrd Number one.

“I believe I can win the most slams and break the record for longest number one. Those are definitely my clear goals”, Novak Djokovic stated.

Federer is sidelined due to surgery and he has called his 2020 season. Rafael Nadal has pulled out from the US Open. He is focusing on Paris Major.

Novak Djokovic has a clear path ahead

With both Rafa and Roger out of the US Open, Djokovic holds a golden opportunity to reduce the Grand Slam gap. He’d then be one short of Nadal and two short of Federer. If he manages to clinch the US Open, surely the Spaniard would be given a run for his money in the French Open this year.

Even though Djokovic would be going in as the top seed, his path is not easy. Young guns such as Denis Shapovalov, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas would be ready to pounce on him. However, his charismatic win in the recently concluded Western and Southern Open would give him an added boost for the New York Major.

Deshaun Watson Contract Talks With Houston Texans Hit An Apparent Roadblock

It was no surprise that Houston Texans Deshaun Watson came in at number 20 in this year’s NFL Top 100 list. The former Clemson Tigers quarterback has been a revelation since making his NFL debut in 2017. He’s led the Texans to two consecutive winning seasons in the league as they are now one of the top teams in the AFC South Division.

In the last two years, the former Heisman Trophy runner-up has managed to throw for almost 8,000 yards. He completed 42 TDs in 2018 and 2019 against 21 interceptions. He is expected to pick up where he left when the season starts in the coming weeks.

Deshaun Watson contract extension talks put on hold amid preseason training

ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler spoke about the ongoing contract talks between Watson’s agent and the Texans’ executives.

“And it’s possible the structure of that Patrick Mahomes 12-year, $500 million deal complicates matters a bit, because Watson’s going to want a much shorter, very different contract. And so expect some pressure to apply around Week 1. This should get done, but there’s not been a lot of momentum just yet,” Fowler said via Bleacher Report.

Patrick Mahomes, DeShaun Watson, NFL

Watson signed a $13.84 million contract including an $8.21 million signing bonus back in 2017. He has two more years left on his current deal but will be hoping to wrap up contract talks ASAP so he can focus on the upcoming season.

The Texans begin their 2020 season with a challenging encounter against defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs. Watson will be working hard in order to bag a big-money extension with the Houston-based franchise next year. The Texans, on their part, will be eager to nail down their star performer on a long-term deal in order to secure their future.

“He’s the Leader of our Football Team”- Offensive Coordinator of Buffalo Bills Show Total Confidence on Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills’ young quarterback Josh Allen was a revelation in 2019. Allen was one of the standout performers in his rookie year but took that up a notch last season. He led the Bills to a 10-6 record under Sean McDermott.

Allen is tipped for yet another prime year in the NFL over the course of the next 12 months. At such a young age, Allen holds the Bills franchise record for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season. He’s definitely a fan favorite already. But this Buffalo Bills coach had something special to say about their star player.

Buffalo Bills coach not sweating too much regarding Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator Brian Daboll had special praise reserved for his star quarterback.

“I’ve said this plenty of times before; Josh is a guy that has come in, has worked hard and aims to improve every day, and he has done that every day since he’s been here. I have total confidence in him as a player and as a person. He just needs to keep grinding out, we all do, keep grinding out to get better. He’s a hard-working quarterback, he’s a hard-working player, and he’s a good leader. He’s the leader of our football team.”

Speaking to Democrat Chronicle about continuity ahead of 2020 season, Daboll further added, “Continuity is not as important as playing well and doing your job. You can be together for a long time and go out there and not play well or coach well or do things well and it really doesn’t matter. Our whole focus is just taking each day as they come and really making the most out of them.”

Allen had a productive 2019 season with the Bills. The 24-year old threw for 3,000+ yards while playing in 16 games last season. The Bills starter also made his debut at number 87 in the NFL Top 100 list earlier this year. The Bills start their 2020 campaign with a home game against New York Jets on September 13, 2020. Can they pick up where they left off in 2019?

Keenan Allen Singles Out Davante Adams, Amari Cooper For Special Praise

It’s safe to say that Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has been overlooked over the last two years. Allen has been with the Chargers since 2013. Of course, back then, they were called the San Diego Chargers. After a few tough years in the initial stages of his NFL career, Allen began to find form since the 2017 season.

Allen has crossed the 1,000 receiving yards mark in his last three seasons. He averages 6.3 receptions per game and will once again be a vital component of the Chargers offense in 2020. Here’s what the seasoned NFL wideout had to say about his 2020 offseason prep.

Allen revealed that he’s been studying the likes of Green Bay Packers’ Davante Adams and Dallas Cowboys’ Amari Cooper in the offseason. Both of these two stars were standout performers in 2019. Cooper, in particular, had a brilliant individual season with the Cowboys. He is tipped for yet another stellar season alongside Michael Gallup and NFL rookie CeeDee Lamb. In addition to that, Keenan also said he watches clips of Minnesota Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs and veteran Patriots WR Julian Edelman.

Allen looking forward to playing with new quarterback Tyrod Taylor

In an earlier interview with Sports Illustrated, Allen spoke about his newfound connection with 31-year old Chargers quarterback – Tyrod Taylor.

“I feel like we have been doing a good job, though. It’s only our third of practice so we haven’t hit all the plays and we haven’t scripted any plays, so I don’t get all the passes me and Phil (Rivers) would do during the games. Once we get to that point, I am sure our connection will be solid.”

Speaking about the peculiar conditions surrounding the 2020 season, Allen added, “I guess it was a little different. I was still able to work out. We had a gym we could go to with a private guy. I got a little stronger. I got a little bigger. This offseason, I was in the weight room a little bit more, so I feel like this is probably the best I have ever entered camp as far as shape-wise.”

The Chargers start their 2020 campaign with an interesting game against Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals. Let’s see if they can get off to a winning start with their new attacking combo of Taylor and Allen.

Washington Youngster Dwayne Haskins Thanks ‘Big Brother’ Alex Smith

Washington Football Team has been plagued with a host of negative publicity over the 2020 offseason. The controversial name change, allegations of sexual harassment against top executives have been a huge obstacle for owner Dan Snyder. In addition to that, their new head coach Ron Rivera was also diagnosed with lymph node cancer.

One of the few positives to emerge from Washington this year is the return of Alex Smith to the training field. The former Kansas City Chiefs man made a stunning return to the league after a horror injury in 2018. After almost 17 injuries, Smith was told that he’d never play football again. But he battled hard against all odds to make the Washington roster this year.

Here’s what promising quarterback Dwayne Haskins had to say about his senior mentor.

Alex Smith turning into the ‘perfect’ mentor for Dwayne Haskins

Washington brought in Haskins in the first round of last year’s draft. The 23-year old stepped in midway through the 2019 season to take over from the misfiring Case Keenum. Haskins featured in a recent interview NBC Washington Lia Assimakopoulos. The Ohio State graduate expressed his gratitude towards Alex Smith who made a miraculous return to the NFL in 2020.

“For him to get out there and just throw a pass is something remarkable, so for him to go out there and do 9-on-9, run around a little bit, throw a pass on the run and make some things happen, it’s super exciting for me, just watching him be that big brother mentor role for me throughout my career here in Washington.”

“He got some 9-on-9 reps in, and a couple times, he felt how real that pass rush is. Alex is an ultra-competitive guy, and we had a conversation after practice today about just how important is was for him to get back out there. I’m extremely happy for him, proud of him, have so much respect for him and know what type of guy he is on and off the field,” Haskins said in the interview.

Here’s what head coach Ron Rivera said on Alex Smith

Washington Football Team start their 2020 season with a clash against Philadelphia Eagles on September 13, 2020. They start the season as underdogs for sure. Ron Rivera will hope to start his reign in the American Capital on a winning note when they face the Eagles.
