WWE RAW results: The latest episode of WWE Raw kicked-off the WWE Championship Drew McIntyre making his way to the ring to celebrate his victory over Randy Orton at SummerSlam. However, McIntyre never saw it coming again as he was viciously attacked by Randy Orton once from behind while McIntyre was going back to backstage.
This attack only suggest that there will be a rematch for WWE Championship at Payback. However on another segment we had Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio to take on Seth Rollins and Murphy in a Tag Team match tonight.
After SummerSlam we have another championship opportunity that Auska has to defend her new WWE RAW Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks in a ‘Lumberjack’ match.
Meanwhile, MVP was not much happy after losing the championship opportunity to Apollo Crews at SummerSlam, therefore, his ‘Hurt Business’ Bobby Lashley took on Apollo Crews in a Arm Competition under the surveillance of Mark Henry.

Randy Orton viciously attacked Drew McIntyre to start the show: McIntyre told Orton he won at SummerSlam because he’s simply hungrier and better. McIntyre again leaned on his past firing, saying he knows what it’s like to wonder where your next paycheck is coming from, something the coddled Orton never had to struggle with. He added a little dig that, by beating Orton with a wrestling move, after Orton beat Edge in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever,” that it must mean he’s the greatest wrestler ever. As McIntyre made his way up the ramp to leave, Orton attacked him from behind. McIntyre fought back, but Orton attacked McIntyre’s eyes before delivering a punt. Orton would return to deliver a second punt moments later as McIntyre was being treated by officials backstage. If you were going to run Orton vs. McIntyre back after SummerSlam, there were far less effective ways to get there than to have Orton double-punt. Hot start to the show and upped the stakes to the match.
