WATCH: Dillian Whyte Drop Bombs on Training as He Prepares for Povetkin Rematch

Dillian Whyte has seemingly accepted his loss against Alexander Povetkin and is ready to run it back inside the squared circle. ‘The Body Snatcher’, who bills himself to be a better boxer than Povetkin, got knocked out when the pair met each other on August 22.

However, Whyte was apparently bossing the fight, until he ate the sleek left from Povetkin in the fifth round. That said, Dillian Whyte has got his step back to the gym and has kicked off his training sessions already.

Dillian Whyte is hunting a rematch against Alexander Povetkin

Whyte, suffering the second loss of his pro career against Povetkin, has asked for an immediate rematch. Speaking with IFL TV, he revealed how he got relaxed in the fight’s midway and got caught with Povetkin’s jab.

But if you ask him who was the dominator, Whyte will seemingly place his name. Well, it makes sense. ‘The Body Snatcher’ was dominating on papers, securing two big knockdowns in the fight. It was the fifth round and one jab that turned the tables instantly.

Despite that, Whyte has alarmed the netizens with a stunning video of his training on social media, recently.

Whyte has showcased his intense left hooks in the video and in the caption, “Back in the trap house letting of some steam today can’t wait to get training camp back in full swing let’s go baby”.

The Briton heavyweight has also tagged Eddie Hearn and Matchroom boxing in the tweet, citing the possibility of Whyte vs Povetkin 2 for the fans.

The Heavyweight scenario has shifted graph

Dillian Whyte could have bagged an opportunity of facing the winner of Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, with a successful Interim title defense against Povetkin.

However, things have changed and the Briton will now have to re-encounter his past opponent, Alexander Povetkin. If he avenges the loss, we can expect a potential showdown between him and the WBC Heavyweight champion shortly.

Yet, it is easier said than done. At least that’s what the boxing fans believe after witnessing the original contest on August 22, with Matchroom’s return to the sport.
